The Lazy Parrot Steakhouse & Grill in Grove

Food was good except the fries menu said homemade and they're not. When we walked in we didn't know if we seat ourselves or what. When nobody came to us we seated ourselves and waitress took awhile to notice us. There's no sign on outside of the building. Very confusing.

Food was okay. I ordered the KC Strip. It was very chewy and was not evenly cooked. Seasoning was great though! The potatoes were amazing.

I have had good food here and usually would give it a high rating. However, I did carry out and when I reached my destination and opened the box, my steak is burned. If I pay these prices for a dyeakni expect it to be cooked accurately.

First time eating here at The Parrot Steakhouse, we are from out of town. The food was decent, but the house salad wasnt even cold and seemed like it almosr had been setting out for a while. The waitress was friendly and kept up great on our refills, but never acknowledged why our food was taking so long. The wait was well over a hour on getting our food so don't expect it being served at a reasonable time. The restaurant could use a really GOOD DEEP CLEAN as we noticed cob webs in entry way and several while sitting at our table. The T.V mounted above us on the wall had food/liquid splattered all over the screen. The decorations and artificial plants were coated in dust. It would not be our choice again if we were traveling through Grove.

For the past 6 months, customer service and cleanly have gone way down hill. I am not sure what is going on as this used to be the best restaurant in Grove. Now, it seems they simply do not care about quality, service, or cleanliness.

Great food and great service! Our first time there. They were packed and we still had great service. A lot of great tasting food for the price. We each made our meal into 2 meals. We loved the atmosphere so much we decided to make reservations for the next night for our anniversary before leaving. Definitely recommended.

Nice restaurant but the menu advertises Baby Back Ribs. That is not what is served. I am not a fan of spareribs and basically wasted 20$. I didn't ask for a refund but should have. On the plus side the waitress was attentive and nice.

The atmosphere was great! You're at Grand Lake, on the water, at Honeycreek. The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and accommodating. We like the Thursday all you can eat crablegs, which are fresh and have a lot of meat inside. Being on the lakeside is so enjoyable. It's a go to place whenever we are at the Lake!

Sushi was amazing! Great service! Not too expensive. Pasta amazing as well. They don't skimp on flavor. Highly recommend!

Excellent food....beautiful view....relaxed atmosphere.

Took almost 2 hours to get our food. Very slow service. Average food. If you don't have 2 hours to spend I don't recommend.

Great food, right on the lake, could be very romantic. Great prices. Parking isn't the best but worth it if you have to walk a little.

I love the Parrot Steakhouse. My recommendations are their excellent steaks and southwest egg rolls. The restaurant is located on grand lake and the decor is tropical and relaxing. Great food and service with nice sized portions. I highly recommend. Be sure to say hi to Jake, the lazy parrot, who will greet you at the door.

Kinda have grown to really like this place! Pretty water view of Grand Lake, good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Service can be a bit slow during peak season, although that can be said if everyplace in Grove.

For Fathers day my family went to eat here. Us girls got our food 30 minutes after ordering, however my dad didn't. He waited over an hour for a cod sandwich. The waitress didn't even take his order off the ticket the first time we asked. They need to work on customer service.

It was great, except the crab legs were way too salty.

Haven't been here in years but we went with a group yesterday, maybe 30 people. We had reservations and they sat us in the party room, which was great. Unfortunately, we had 2 different waitstaff for the room and they didn't communicate with each other or the kitchen and half of our party got their food 20 minutes before everyone else. Then when the rest of the food came it was cold. :( They did comp most of our meals to make up for it. The food, had it not been cold was great, the service not so much.

Waterfront, outdoor option, indoor tropical decor, they do have a parrot! Wonderful place to eat, go try them. Monday is sushi night for those so inclined. We like it very much.

What an amazing dining experience! We visited tonight (a holiday weekend) for all-you-can-eat crab and it was packed, they let us know the wait time was about 2 hours for a party of 8, took our number, and we left to go about our lake day. they called us almost exactly two hours later to let us know our table was ready, and we walked right in and were seated immediately. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was incredible, and I’ve never seen a staff work so well together when absolutely slammed. Everyone in there was running their behinds off. I will for sure make time to stop here again when back in town next time! THANK YOU!!!

Have eaten here several times in the past & it was always great, but tonight they were off. My steak was overcooked and tough. The vegetables were almost raw & nothing had much seasoning.

Went there on a Monday night, they were very busy. Short wait, service was a little slow but very good. Had the all you can eat catfish, was worth the wait. My wife had the chicken fried steak and the mother in law had a steak, we were all very satisfied as always. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone in the area.

It was pretty busy, but we were seated pretty quickly. It was all you can eat catfish night, and it was good!

Love this restraunt a little prices but totally worth your money and on Monday nights they have sushi that is to die for.

Comfortable and tastyVery comfortable atmosphere, my wife had the chicken fried steak, huge portion and very good. I had the sirloin and shrimp, VERY GOOD. I don't believe in steak sauce, if it needs something to give it flavor, then it's not good meat. Mine had a perfectly balanced natural flavor. Even the parrot named Jake was polite. The only thing that I would have liked better, is for the steak to have been larger than 6oz. We will definitely eat there again.

Great service. Cute atmosphere and there's a real parrot in the lobby. Their jerk chicken pasta was ok. I really loved their crab cakes, the house made honey lime vinagrette on my salad and that they had local (Tulsa) beer. I'll come back :)

We placed a call in order last night for shrimp Alfredo. Was told 20 mins. After 50 mins it was finally done. Once home the entire plastic plate was upside down with all contents just in the bag. No salad dressing on the salad when I was told ranch would be added. So disappointed after a long day at the hospital. No one would answer the phone when I called to complain. Also not one person had a mask on. I guess they don’t care that we are in a pandemic.

One of the best Chicken Fried Steak EVER ! I say the shift was on spot today! Fresh Mash Potato’s & Great Green Beans Too ! Was super excited for the prime rib Friday. All 3 of us ordered the prime rib, it was too rare and way too fatty. Sides were cold and bland. Had been looking forward to this for weeks, but won't be going back. Service was also poor.

Great Cajun pasta. Wonderful service. Ice water was tasty.

Food was good, friendly staff. I did have a hair on my shrimp but it was replaced. J

Love the Parrot! We had the Steak and Ribs. Great food and plenty of it. It was a birthday celebration and all went well. Our server was like a hummingbird though and never came to a complete stop at our table. She was busy and working hard but not at all relaxed like the other servers. My mouth was open every time she came by, but she buzzed away before I could get a word out. The "music" was VERY unpleasant and too loud. I would have much rather been able to eat with peace and quiet and be able to communicate with each other. I HATE that!!! We were seated by the window and had a great view. This is a place we love but don't get to visit often as its a very long drive for us. I always recommend The Parrot, but do hope it's more peaceful next time.

2.5 hours wasted here waiting for 2 cold steaks that were way overdone. My dog refused to eat the leftovers. I've ate here a number of times and today marks the last visit.

First time eating here. Great friendly service and great food. Will definitely be back. Great view of grand lake!

My wife and I and our 2 kids walked in around 2:30 on a Saturday. We waited 10 minutes to get any attention at the please wait to be seated sign. Then they sat us down. We waited another 15 minutes and didn’t get a server to wait on us. My wife asked one of 5 waitresses that were walking around by our table to see if we can have a server for our drinks at least. We waited 10 more minutes and still never got a server. We got up and walked out and when we walked out the servers snickered like they purposely left us alone. It was embarrassing. They weren’t even busy for the amount of open tables and servers they had.

My wife and I stop here on a Friday afternoon. Around 6. Got there before the crowd. I had the Ribeye and my wife had the Cajun pasta. Everything was delish. The steamed veggies, loaded baked potato, and the steak were superb. My wife has tried Cajun pasta everywhere that has it and she says this was the best. The portions were pretty big. My wife had enough for another meal. We will defiantly be going back. Can’t wait to try the all u can eat crab legs.

We always have had a good dinner here,but last night we got there at 5:08 and it was after7:00 before we were setted. And actually 9:00 before we were served and our dinner competed. They it was a long wait for food. I know you were very busy. Then it was for ever before we got extra crab. And the last 2 times we have been the crab was SO SALTY !!! You couldn't enjoy it! The waiters were apologizing constantly and trying so hard but couldn't keep up with the demands.

Food was great. Was a bit cooler than outside. The service speed seemed to suffer with it being busy as the drinks took a while to come out.

We set outside for 2 hours then after being seated ordered crab legs took 40 mins to get our food that was somehow cold with no refills and no sides horrible service ,,,dont know what happened but will not be back

Love the atmosphere! Food very good and fresh. Steak melted in mouth. Parrot got rowdy however storm coming in and he wanted nuts.

The food was amazing! Huge portions. Our waitress, Paige, was great!
